كتابة المنظر
سيتعرف المشاركون خلال الورشة على كيفية استخدام الميكروكنترولرز (الأداه الأكثر شعبية التى تتضمن معالج) مثل برنامج Arduino ـ Picaxe. سوف يتعرفون ايضا على كيفية البرمجمة و تفاعل الأضواء و أجهزة الاستشعار وكذلك أساسيات الإكترونيات وعرض نص فى الفضاء من خلال برمجة لتتابع الضوء.
ستتناول الورشة عملية استمرار تتابع الصور او الإيهام البصري حيث تمتزج صور متعددة منفصلة في صورة واحدة في ذهن المشاهد. وهو ما يستخدم احيانا في افلام الرسوم المتحركة. المجموعة سوف تنتهي من الورشة بتصوير مجموعة من الفوتوغرافيا التي ستعرض نصوص عن المشهد الحضري للأسكندرية.

جوليان ماري (فرنسابلجيكا)
تخرج من أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة من مدينة ميتز الفرنسية, جوليان ماري هو فنان في وسائل الميديا الحديثة. من اهم اعماله انفجار الكاميرا، السينما ذات الصورة منخفضة الجودة، ديمى باس.
عمل منذ التسعينيات على العديد من العروض الفنيه الادائية الحية، العروض المركبة والسينما ومزج انواع مختلفه من الوسائط، واستكشاف الخصائص الفيزيائيه للصورة المتحركة.
عرضت اعماله دوليا في اماكن مرموقه مثل مركز الفن الالكترونى، مهرجان الفنون الرقمية، مهرجان الفن والاعلام الاوربى، مهرجان روتردام الدولى للسينما، مركز الفن والاعلام بالمانيا، اى سى سى باليابان،مركز الفنون الادائية والاعلام التجريبى بنيويورك، حصل على جائزة فن التكنولوجيا الحديث سنة ٢٠٠٨ وتم الترشح لجائزة مؤتمر التكنولوجيا بنيويورك عام ٢٠٠٩.

تستهدف الورشة الفنانين الشباب من عارضين و مصممين من سن 18 الى 35, الذين يريدون تعلم تقنية الميكروكونترولار و كيفية استخدام أجهزة الأستشعار الدقيقة.
تبدأ الورشة من 8 وحتى 10 أبريل، من الساعة العاشرة صباحا و حتى الخامسة مساءا في غرفة الاجتماعات E قاعة المؤتمرات بمكتبة الاسكندرية.
يفضل للمشاركين احضار اجهزة الكمبيوتر الشخصية في ايام الورشة.
الورشة ستكون باللغه الانجليزية.

WRITE THE LANDSCAPE
The participants of the workshop will be introduced to the video Microcontrollers as a very popular tool that includes a microprocessor, such as Arduino. Participants will learn programming, lights interaction, sensors, and electronics basics.
A programmed sequence of light is able to display a text in space. The Workshop will cover the process of “Persistence of vision” or the optical illusion through which multiple separate images blend in one single image in the human mind. This is also used in animated images in the animation movies. The participants will conclude the workshop with the shooting of a sequence of photography displaying the urban landscape of Alexandria.

Julien Maire (France/Belgium)
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in the French city of Metz, Julien MAIRE is a French expert in the new media tools. With this regard, he has developed impressive artistic works such as Exploding Camera, Low Resolution Cinema, and Demi-pas.
Since the mid-1990s, he has worked in art performances, media installations and cinema to produce a live performance as a hybrid of different media genres, exploring the physical characteristics of the moving image.
Marie’s works have been exhibited widely and internationally at very prestigious art venues and festivals such as Ars Electronica Center, The Digital Art Festival, European Media Art Festival, International Film Festival Rotterdam, transmediale/conversationpiece, Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe (Germany), ICC (Japan), Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (New York). Marie won the New Technological Art Award in 2008 and he was nominated for the World Technology Summit Award in New York in 2009.

The workshop is designed for young artists, both performers and designers, between the age of 18 and 35 who are eager to learn microcontroller techniques and how to use sensors.
The workshop will be take place on the 8th, 9th and 10th of April from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the meeting room E in Bibliotheca Alexandria, Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops, if possible
The workshop will be held in English
