Flicker Fusion of Photo Video Art (Workshop)

WRITE THE LANDSCAPE

The participants of the workshop introduced to the video Microcontrollers as a very popular tool that includes a microprocessor, such as Arduino. Participants learned programming, lights interaction, sensors, and electronics basics. A programmed sequence of light is able to display a text in space.

Workshop covered the process of “Persistence of vision” or the optical illusion through which multiple separate images blend in one single image in the human mind. This is also used in animated images in the animation movies. The participants concluded the workshop with the shooting of a sequence of photography displaying the urban landscape of Alexandria.
